Killingworth 에 거주하고있는 Cora Ogden 은

Alabama 의 Mobile 에서 자랐다.

그는 물리학을 전공하다가 부모의 반대에도 미술로 바꿨다.

1972년 회화로 학사학위를 그리고 1974년

조각으로 석사학위를 받았다.

 

졸업하며 New York City 로 이주하여

International Paper Company 의 Designer 로 10 여년간 일하였다.

결혼하여 가정을 가지며 직장을 떠나

Stamford, Connecticut 교외로 이주하였다.
